Since 2018, the Hudson PTO has been organizing and fundraising to rebuild our well-loved 25-year-old playground and create a safe place space where children of all abilities can play together. Thanks to generous donations from Hudson, Rock Hill and Warson Woods community members ($20,000) and the City of Rock Hill ($20,000), in conjunction with the Rock Hill Parks & Recreation Department, the Hudson Playground Project was awarded a St. Louis County Municipal Park Grant ($350,000). The $390,000 budget is dedicated to new, more accessible play structures, safety surfacing and removal of the current equipment and a section of wood chips...
So, we need to raise additional funds for seating -- and are asking for support from our local business community!
We are grateful for all donations and will recognize donors listed by giving levels (in image to right) with:
Banner signage visible from the new Hudson Elementary School playground
