GRANT APPLICATION APPROVED!

The St. Louis County Municipal Park Grant Commission approved the application for $346,589 bringing our overall project budget to $390,000 to date.

Budget increase from Grant Committee

The Municipal Grant Committee increased each municipalities maximum budget, increasing our combined budget with Rock Hill and Warson Woods from $370,000 to $410,000.

Architect Firm Begins Designs

DG2 has begin preliminary designs for the project. They hope to have preliminary designs for new playground and an option to retrofit the current structure, by April 20th. conducting community surveys, and present designs to the community in April and May. Feedback will be incorporated into each design iteration.

Kickoff with Architect Firm

The City of Rock Hill, the Hudson Playground Committee, and DG2 Design Landscape Architecture firm kicked off the project. We reviewed the goals of the project which include: Inclusive, Accessible, Interactive, within Budget, and Low Maintenance.

The Webster Groves School District Board voted to approve the contract between the District and the City of Rock Hill.
